Applicability
These terms apply to requests, proposals and work by Taits, unless something else has been agreed in writing.
Requests and proposals
A proposal describes the scope, planning, price, assumptions and delivery. A project starts only after the proposal or agreed assignment has been confirmed in writing.
Collaboration and input
The client provides the information, feedback, content, access and materials needed to execute the project properly and on time. Missing input may affect planning and delivery.
Scope changes
Work outside the agreed scope is discussed in advance. Additional work may lead to an adjusted timeline or extra costs.
Payment
Invoices are paid within the term stated on the invoice, unless something else has been agreed in writing. Larger projects may use milestones or an advance payment.
Intellectual property
After full payment, the client receives the right to use the agreed final result. Existing tools, templates, methods, concepts and general code components from Taits remain property of Taits, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Portfolio
Taits may mention or show completed projects in the portfolio, on social media and in pitches, unless it has been agreed in writing beforehand that this is not allowed or that publication must wait.
Liability
Taits works carefully and professionally, but is not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, loss of revenue or issues caused by external services, hosting, plugins, APIs or materials supplied by the client. Any liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant assignment.
Third-party services
Services from third parties, such as hosting, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Google or Shopify, are also subject to the terms of those providers. Taits is not responsible for changes, outages or price changes from those services.
Law
Assignments by Taits are governed by Dutch law. If questions or issues come up, we first look for a practical solution together.
